Protective Coatings
With our own spray-painting booth and custom-built oven, we are able to offer a variety of different finishes, including protective coatings such as Molykote, that are used in the oil and gas, marine and subsea industries.

At Motech we have in place the processes and the tools to ensure we do, for example:
- Proving the design: Creating 3D models allow us to review a design prior to manufacture, helping us to identify and rectify design issues much more effectively, before any metal has been cut.
- Optimising the fabrication process: Using custom built jigs not only help save time by speeding up the manufacturing process, but also ensure we keep things consistent, maintaining the highest level of quality.

Motech Engineering is subject to rigorous quality control procedures in accordance with our ISO 9001 accreditation.
More than a simple tick-box exercise, we are inspected twice a year, which includes examining:
- How we source and store materials
- The tools and equipment we use (ensuring all calibration certificates are up to date)
Our internal systems mean that you will receive your finished parts on time and to budget.
And as a company that design and manufacture steel and aluminium components used in construction, we also have to abide by EN 1090-1, the European standard for structural / construction steel and aluminium that is installed in a permanent manner.
